Thermal Fluid Modelling Overview

Thermal Fluid Modelling
We solve our governing equations of mass, momentum and energy to obtain detailed results

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) allows us to simulate Thermal-Fluid behaviour in more than one way. The first approach is based on a systems or network approach such as Flownex. Thermal-Fluid networks look at the system response and can therefore vary in complexity, ranging from a few components to hundreds or even thousands in a single network.

A second approach on which Flo.EFD is based, is where we solve our governing equations of mass, momentum and energy to obtain detailed results. This detailed approach therefore focuses more on a specific component and its performance.
